Building Businesses. Creating Impact. Figuring Out Life Along the Way.
Entrepreneur. Business Consultant. Military Spouse. Mom. And a woman learning how to build a life and businesses that actually work for me.

About Me
Hi, I'm Danielle
I didn't set out with some perfectly mapped out plan to become an entrepreneur.
I was a military spouse and mom looking for flexibility, stability, purpose, and a way to create something of my own.
Virtual assistance gave me that starting point. What began as me supporting businesses from behind the scenes eventually grew into The Virtual Helping Hand, a team, business consulting, speaking, multiple projects, and a much bigger vision than I had when I started.
But that's only part of my story. I'm also a mom of two navigating entrepreneurship while living with Major Depressive Disorder. I know what it's like to have big goals and still have days when simply getting through the day feels big enough.
I've experienced deployments, motherhood, business ownership, depression, growth, setbacks, wins, and plenty of moments where I had absolutely no idea what I was doing next.
And I think there's value in talking about all of it.
I'm not interested in presenting entrepreneurship as perfectly polished. I'm much more interested in building businesses that support the life we actually live and creating spaces where women don't feel like they have to pretend everything is okay to still be ambitious.
Entrepreneurship
What Started With One Business Became So Much More
Entrepreneurship has changed a lot for me over the years. What started as a way to create flexibility around military life and motherhood grew into an opportunity to build businesses, create jobs, consult other entrepreneurs, support women, and turn some very personal experiences into something that can help someone else.
Today, my work spans business operations, consulting, entrepreneurship, community impact, and advocacy.
And somehow, I'm still coming up with new ideas. Probably more often than I should.

The Business That Started It All
The Virtual Helping Hand started with me and grew into something much bigger. Today, VHH helps entrepreneurs streamline, organize, and grow their businesses through operational support, administrative support, website design, social media, email marketing, and business consulting.
But one of the things I'm proudest of is the team behind it. VHH is powered primarily by military spouses, creating flexible opportunities for women who understand firsthand what it means to build a career around a life that can change at any moment.
We don't believe in cookie cutter support. We step into businesses, figure out what is actually needed, and help build the structure behind the growth.

Sometimes You Don't Need Another Idea. You Need a Plan.
I love ideas. Clearly. But a good idea can only take a business so far without structure behind it.
Through my business consulting work, I help women take all of the ideas floating around in their heads and turn them into something they can actually execute. We look at where the business is now, what's working, what isn't, where you want to go, and what needs to happen to get there.
My approach isn't based on pretending there is one perfect formula for entrepreneurship. It's about building a business that makes sense for your goals, your capacity, and your actual life.
That philosophy is at the heart of my BEE Method: Build. Elevate. Expand. Because growth shouldn't just look good from the outside. It should work behind the scenes too.
Turning Part of My Story Into Something Bigger
My experience with depression changed me, but it also opened my eyes to how many women are quietly struggling while still taking care of everyone around them.
That became part of the inspiration behind The Light Within Initiative. It exists to support stay at home moms experiencing depression by providing compassionate spaces for connection, emotional support, resources, and personal rediscovery.
Motherhood can become so consuming that somewhere between taking care of everyone else, it becomes easy to lose sight of the woman you were before "Mom" became one of your biggest titles.
I want The Light Within Initiative to help women find her again. Because you deserve to feel like you again.

The Conversations We Don't Have Enough
There's the business owner. There's the mom. There's the military spouse. There's the woman living with depression.
And they're all me.
My upcoming podcast will be a space where those worlds get to exist together. We'll talk about entrepreneurship and ambition, but we'll also talk about depression, motherhood, military spouse life, burnout, relationships, messy seasons, big wins, failures, and what it actually looks like to keep building when life doesn't stop happening around you.
Some episodes will be business. Some will be personal. Some will probably be a little bit of both. And I have a feeling there will be plenty of laughs mixed in, because sometimes you either laugh or stare at the wall. 😂
Podcast Name: Coming Soon
Let's Talk About the Real Stuff
I speak about the parts of entrepreneurship and womanhood that don't always make it into the highlight reel.
From building businesses around real life and learning to delegate, to navigating imposter syndrome, motherhood, mental health, and entrepreneurship, I bring a mix of lived experience, business knowledge, humor, and transparency to every conversation.
I don't believe people need another perfectly polished success story.
Sometimes they need to hear from someone who is still building, still learning, still navigating hard seasons, and still choosing to keep going.
Because I Am More Than My Work
Business is a huge part of my life, but it isn't my entire personality. I'm a Navy spouse. A mom of two. A woman who grew up in Hawaii. A gamer. A lover of hair, makeup, ridiculously corny romance novels, and jokes that are probably funnier to me than everyone else.
I love people. I love ideas. I love creating things. And I'm learning that building a meaningful life isn't only about how successful your business becomes. It's also about creating room to actually live it.
Business, Life & Everything In Between
I'm building businesses, raising kids, navigating mental health, supporting other entrepreneurs, creating impact, and figuring things out along the way. This space is where all of those pieces get to come together.
Whether you found me because of The Virtual Helping Hand, business consulting, The Light Within Initiative, an upcoming podcast episode, a speaking engagement, or somewhere completely random, I'm glad you're here.
